The Journey starts as a fast paced Cape Townian grom. Initially the path for the founder, Josh Fairley, was sponsorships and contests; instant innovation from the goofy footer and his big airs. Naturally, Josh started experimenting with various board riding types with friends from all sides of surfing, from big airs to single fin flares and everything in the middle. The passion for the art of shaping was born. That same performance attitude was geared toward boards, designs are not just about style; they are about redefining performance and enhancing the connection between the surfer and the sea.
